While the COVID 19 pandemic did change the way we had to do things at the Christian Shelter, and impacted the programs we were able to offer, one of our newer programs began through a partnership with WorWic Community College. This program offered GED classes to those quests who wanted to attend the sessions.
Due to the COVID 19 situation, guests that were in the shelter stayed longer than normal, and so were able to take advantage of programs like this. It was a nice addition to the list of services, and will continue to be offered going forward.
