NATIONAL NIGHT OUT
Salisbury’s National Night Out – a time for Police, Firemen, government officials, service agencies, and people to come together for fun, food and fellowship. At the invitation of the Salisbury Police Department, Sister Angie and Brother Darrell Wilson set up a colorful and varied Christian Shelter display table. Hundreds of booths and tables and a great throng of people filled the Park. Board members Ted Evans and Bryan Murfree stopped by and helped spread the Shelter’s message among the crowds. Sister Angie handed out many Shelter cards, brochures, flyers, newsletters, etc. to all who came by the table.

TESTIMONY
“Is not this (person) a burning stick snatched from the fire?” (Zechariah 3: 2) – “I should have been dead several times over”, a young female guest told us. “I was hooked on morphine, cocaine, acid. I was in a car crash that wrapped around a tree. My life was spared by some miracle. I didn’t know why until I came here (to Christian Shelter). I found out in your devotions – it was God. I never knew God loved me that much. Now I know He’s got a purpose for me, and I’m gonna do it. I never miss devotions, even when I have to work and don’t get back to the Shelter ‘til 7:30. I’ll go in for the last part. God’s always got something for me that I need to hear.”
“BEARING FRUIT IN EVERY GOOD WORK”
“The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.” (Luke 10: 2)
